In November 2020 we completed an extension and built an external Visitor Centre to provide a safe secure area for visits during COVID-19 pandemic.

1982

St. Anne's founded as the first Independant Care Home in Luton

1989

St. Anne's bought by Con Crowley

1991

Mrs. Bernie Lysaght employed as Registered Manager

1996 / 2004 / 2009

Crowley Care Group founded. Other Care Homes acquired in the area

2001

Renovation of St. Anne's Care Home

2006

Received accreditation from Luton Borough Council for the provision of specialised Dementia Care

2006

Further renovations to St. Anne's Care Home including new passenger lift and laundry   

2009

Con Crowley elected as Chairman of the Luton Branch of the Bedforshire Care Group, responsible for liaison between all of the independent care providers and the Local Authority.

2009

Mrs. Bernie Lysaght appointed as Director of Care for Crowley Care Group on acquisition of fourth Care Home

2012

Planning permission granted for a specialised Dementia Care Unit in the property adjacent to St. Anne's 

2015

Mrs Donna Archer appointed as the new Manager to St Annes in January.

2016

Mrs Donna Archer appointed as Registered Manager with CQC

2017

2 staff members made the final of The Luton & Beds Community Care Awards October 2017
