Our services, almost like home;

Our aims and objectives are as follows;

To provide a safe, warm and homely environment for the elderly persons in our care.

We ensure that they continue to retain their own measure of independence allowing them to live with dignity by upgrading their quality of life.

We promote equal opportunity to race and gender, and we provide special care to the needs of persons with mental confusion who are unable to live at home or with their families.

We hope to achieve these objectives by responding to individual needs;

  • Residents will be treated with the utmost respect and will be consulted and involved in 'decision making' related to their care, comfort and leisure.
  • Courtesy and respect to be shown to all residents and relatives.
  • Leisure activities are encouraged, such as outings, quizzes, bingo, games, baking, craft, musical movement and dance. Plus, entertainers come to the home on a regular basis.
  • Spiritual/pastoral needs and choices of residents are honoured and promoted.
  • Confidentiality must be practiced by all staff at all times.  Any suggestions to improve standards of care are welcomed.
  • Concerns by either residents or relatives must be brought to the attention of the senior staff member. They will act and report as necessary.
  • Resident relatives and representatives are invited to Forum Meetings to help us to improve our service and their experience at St Anne's.
